Hold On Tight Here I Go!
Marisabel's Blog
I believe we are all naturally born curious and life-long learners. Some of us may learn faster than others but eventually we all learn. Touro has brought out a spark in me that had been asleep for some time. I am glad to have the opportunity once again to serve society in an upgraded way. I plan to use my new found knowledge to support my school and colleagues. I plan to start with my classroom and as I work with others to find more best practices, share with all that will listen.

I like how you describe it as serving students in an upgraded way! We are all great teachers and can continue doing what we love to do in the classroom, but now with more knowledge, passion, and support.

This program has most definitely ignited an innovation spark within me as well! It has been truly inspiring and has most definitely created within me an inability to become complacent, because I will from this point on always be searching through inquiry, research, implementation, assessment, as well as, trial and error, for ways to meet the needs of ALL of my learners. My learners and their realities will never have the same needs from year to year, let alone from day to day, and therefore my TPACK "Sweet spot" will never be able to remain the same either. Technology, pedagogy, and content will always be transforming as well, and for these reasons, and so many more, teaching is a very exciting profession and one that I feel honored to be a member of.
