Hold On Tight Here I Go!

My capstone audience can be any educator that is looking for something fun and engaging for his/her learners to do while they work with small groups. I think they are my perfect audience because I have found that using an online platform for reading and other engaging academic tasks will keep learners engaged, freeing up the teacher from managing behavior issues while trying to successfully lead a very important differentiated small group lesson or a one on one check in.
It will be important that I have a how to video explaining the ins and outs of some of the more effective online platforms. It will also be important to let them hear what learners have to say about their experience with epic! for example. Having an infographic that clearly shows improvement overall in my students engagement and post online platform assessment, will also be crucial to proving the benefits and entice them to want to try new technology in the classroom for independent reading.

I am looking forward to watch your video tutorial on the benefits of using an online platform for reading or other academic tasks. I think managing your students' behaviors with the integration of technology is a win-win situation, relieving the teacher with more time to do 1;1 work and students are more inclined to read independently.

I like your use of the word "entice." I initially struggled with what are we doing in this program and what is this capstone every one is talking about. The second it clicked for me was when I figured out it was just a vehicle for us to market our work as if we were trying to sell an idea to someone else. I began looking up market a product and came to some of the same information that we eventually covered in our program. That doesn't mean I am any closer to a product, because I am not, but I do have a better idea of how we are to entice others about our work. Cheers!
